Based out of the Rockford/Loves Park/Machesney Park, Illinois area, and Janesville, Wisconsin, NIPIS is an organization for researching and documenting paranormal activity in and around Northern Illinois and now stretching north to the southern Wisconsin area.

NIPIS has been in existence since around 1990, though not by its current name. Back then we were just a bunch of high school kids with a similar fascination. Now, we are an organized group of friends and family that have a common interest in the paranormal. This has been part of many of our lives for a very long time.

We are not "ghost busters" or paranormal eliminators, exterminators, or exorcists. We are what the name implies... Paranormal Investigators. We are here to investigate, and determine if there is in fact a haunting or if there is a man made or natural explanation to an occurrence.

We DO NOT remove spirits.
