The organization for
researching and documenting paranormal activity in and around the Northern
Illinois and Southern Wisconsin area. Based out of the Rockford/Loves Park/Machesney Park, Illinois
area, and now stretching out to Crystal Lake, IL and the McHenry County
areas, along with north to Janesville, WI. NIPIS has been in existence since around 1990, though not by its
current name. Back then we were just a bunch of high school kids with a
similar fascination.
Now, we are an organized group of friends that have a common
interest in the paranormal. This has been part of many of our lives for a very long time. We are not
"ghost busters" or paranormal eliminators, exterminators, or exorcists. We are
what the name implies...
Paranormal Investigators, and this is something we take very seriously. We are here to investigate, and determine if there
is in fact a haunting or if there is a man made or natural explanation to an
occurrence.
Bi-Weekly, or Monthly meetings
will be set up in the
near future. Any and all input: personal experience stories, photos, meeting
times and
location suggestions, and any paranormal information is very much welcomed,
